Food2Go GoPago Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I set up an account?
If you have an iPhone, simply go to your App Store.
Select “GoPago” and follow the instructions on the screen that ask for your name, address and credit card information.
If you have an android phone, go to Google Play

Does it cost me to set up an account?
GoPago is free! All we charge is the cost of the meal.

How do I see the menu?
By downloading the free GoPago app.

How far in advance can I order food?
You can order now and pick your food up in the time designated by the kitchen.
We’ll be sure to let you know with a specific message to you when it’s going to be ready.

What are the pickup times?
Pickup time in Moffitt Cafe Express are 10:00 am to 11:00 pm. For pizza in Moffitt Cafe, pickup 11:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Can I pay when I pickup?
GoPago is a pre-pay program – pay online with your credit card (just like you do on Amazon!) and it will be ready for you to pickup when you arrive. Pre-order, pre-pay, pick-up. Skip the line!

Can I use FastPay?
Not at this time. You can only pay by credit card at this point.

How do I know my order went through?
You’ll get a message from the system that will tell you that your order is being processed and then another that tells you when it’s ready.

I want to order sandwiches for our meeting – do you have a maximum order?
You can order whatever number of meals you would like.

Do you deliver?
No, we do not deliver at this time but we're working on it. Please feel free to pick up your food at your designated time at either Moffitt Café Express (on the second floor of the hospital near Moffitt Café – just outside the second-floor elevators) or in the Café at the Pizza Station.

Do I have to register to order?
Yes, you must register first. Make sure you download the GoPago app onto your mobile device.

What if I make an order in the future and then want to change it?
Once in GoPago, you can message the restaurant where you placed your order.

How can I cancel an order?
Once you have completed and made the order, it cannot be undone. Please message the kitchen with your concern and we will try to work with you.

Where else can I use GoPago account besides just UCSF?
GoPago is currently available at more than 400 merchants in Bay Area (San Francisco, Berkeley, Mountain View, San Jose, and Stanford) plus New York, Dallas, and Las Vegas. The list continues to grow so check back often.

How do I know my order was received?
After placing your order, you will receive a “Thank You!” confirmation message that your order has been placed. Once the merchant has completed your order, you will receive another confirmation message notification for the completed transaction and your receipt will change from "pending" to "complete."

While I’m ordering, how do I remove items from my order?
To remove items from your order:

  1. Go into your cart and select the item you want to remove
  2. Select ‘Remove item’

Where can I find my receipts?
Every transaction has a unique receipt. To view your receipts:
• Open the GoPago application.
• Select the Receipt button in the navigation bar located at the bottom of the screen.
• Receipts are in descending order by most recent transaction. Scroll through the list to find the desired receipt.

Who can fix any problem I have?
Food2Go is powered by GoPago and they can fix problems at help@gopago.com. It is also administered by UCSF Medical Center’s Nutrition and Food Services. If you have a question or can’t fix something, please email them at: cafecomments@ucsfmedctr.org

Is it safe to put my credit card information online?
Yes, it is safe to pay by credit card online – GoPago uses the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL 128 bit encryption) protocol to safeguard your sensitive personal information, including your account number, during online transactions. UCSF also have verified that GoPago's credit card solution meets the Payment Card Industry (PCI) security standards for credit card processing.

What if I got caught in surgery and couldn't pick up my order once I've paid for it?
Feel free to pick up your meal if the location is still open, they’ve kept the food either in the refrigerator for you or the warmer. Just take your receipt to the location where you ordered your meal (for example, Moffitt Café Express), and let them know that you got tied up. If the location has already closed for the day, bring your receipt back to that location the next day for either a fresh meal or a discount ticket crediting your next meal.

How do I change credit cards?
Changing your Credit Card is as simple as a few clicks. Simply press on your Credit Card Symbol and it will prompt you to remove it. Press "Add" and you will be prompted to add a Credit Card.
