- When are you open?
Sunday thru Saturday 6:45 am to 11 pm.
- Do you accept Credit cards or ATM cards?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards and ATM cards, but do not give cash back.
- Do you accept personal checks?
No, we do not accept personal checks.
- Do you accept Travelers Checks?
Yes, we honor Travelers checks.
- Can I bill my food to my family members room in the hospital?
No, all food in the Moffitt Cafe, Moffitt Café Express, and 920 Express must be paid for with cash, credit card, ATM card, Travelers checks or with a social services voucher.
- Do you have gift certificates?
Yes, you can purchase them though our Business Office located in room M294 at the opposite end of the hall from the Moffitt Cafe.
- Do I get a discount if I’m a student?
No, but you are given a tax exemption.
- How do I get a discount?
All faculty, staff, and students who work at UCSF and UCSF Medical Center can receive a discount by purchasing the food with a FastPay account. FastPay is a a pre-paid account associated with your official UCSF ID badge. You can sign up online at: http://fastpay.ucsf.edu. Other individuals who work on UCSF premises such as volunteers, contractors, and temporary employees are not eligible for a FastPay account.
- How long is the breakfast service?
Breakfast is served from 6:45 am to 10:00 am.
- When does Lunch start?
We begin lunch service at 11 am and it runs straight through to dinner until 6:30 pm.
- Where can I get a hamburger?
Moffitt Café does offer such type foods at our grill area, which is open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm. The grill closes for 1 hour between 10:30 am and 11:30 am to reset for lunch service.
- What others kinds of food do you serve?
